Humble Beginnings in Ukraine
Born in Kyiv to a Ukrainian officer’s family, Alita’s early life was modest. Some of her most cherished childhood gifts were a Kinder Surprise and a color television—a reflection of the simple joys she found in her upbringing. Until the age of seven, she lived with her grandmother in a small Crimean village, where she helped sell fresh produce in Simferopol’s local markets. After each sale, her grandmother would treat her to ice cream and a short trip to the Black Sea—moments that became treasured childhood memories.
As she grew, Alita’s parents exposed her to a different standard of living by sending her to France every summer. This experience broadened her worldview, but it was her aunt, a Ukrainian fashion designer, who ignited her passion for fashion. At just 12 years old, Alita began attending Ukrainian Fashion Week, where she fell in love with the art of dressing women beautifully. From sewing dresses for dolls as a child to eventually working as a fashion stylist for Ukraine’s top designers and magazines, her path in fashion was clear.
Overcoming Loss, Abuse, and War
Alita’s dreams took a devastating detour when she lost both her parents. Left vulnerable, she endured years of domestic violence at the hands of relatives before finally making the brave decision to walk away and reclaim her freedom.
Then, war shattered her homeland. As the bombing of Kyiv intensified, she took matters into her own hands—repairing her apartment herself before finding a way to escape Ukraine. Within two months, she fled to France, seeking safety with friends. But even amid the uncertainty, she held onto a dream: America.
Determined to rebuild her life, Alita spent two years preparing the necessary documents to start anew in the United States.
Building the American Dream
Upon arriving in the U.S., Alita had to start from zero. With relentless dedication, she transformed from a war refugee into a thriving fashion model, walking prestigious runways in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York. Her background as a stylist gave her a keen fashion vision, enabling her to curate and execute photo shoots, brand collaborations, and productions with a unique creative edge.
More than just a model, Alita has built a media and PR empire—helping brands gain global recognition through advertising, magazine features, and billboards. Her influence extends beyond fashion, as she actively empowers women to break free from abuse and pursue their passions fearlessly.
